The Miller Gallery is a contemporary online and pop-up focused gallery based in Charleston, SC, representing 27 American and international artists, 90% of which are female. We celebrate art by offering in-person private art viewings, as well as curating art experiences for all to enjoy. The Miller Gallery offers a variety of art services, including art advisory, art loan programs, and installation.

Kayla Twomey Flamman is the owner and curator of The Miller Gallery.  A Greenville, South Carolina native, Kayla earned her BS in Exercise Science with an Art History minor from High Point University. While earning her degree, she spent time studying British Heritage and Culture abroad in Oxford, England. Afterwards, she continued her education and earned her MBA from Webster University to combine her love of art and marketing.

After six years of working in fine art galleries in Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC, she moved to Charleston with her husband and two pups. Kayla joined The Miller Gallery team in 2021 and in 2023, stepped into the role of owner, purchasing the gallery from founder, Sarah Miller GelberKayla uses her creativity and passion for the arts to contribute to Charleston’s thriving art scene. Her intuition for producing shows, staging exhibitions, and curating site-specific installations have added to The Gallery's wide array of services.

In 2022, The Miller Gallery moved from the East Bay Street storefront and opened its new headquarters at 785 Meeting Street. This new location offers private art viewings, events throughout the year, and a home base for the growing roster of artists.
Julia Deckman is a visual artist, creating and collaborating in Charleston since 2012. She is a contemporary painter obsessed with color. Julia explores this obsession using both figurative and abstract approaches, with various painting media. There is at least one speck of paint on everything she owns…

Julia was named the 2019 Lowcountry Artist of the Year and has served on the board of Redux Contemporary Art Center.  In 2020, she opened and operated a pop-up exhibition and creative retail space. Over its two year span, the James Island studio hosted over 13 exhibitions for artists, as well as small business trunk shows, creative workshops, and community events. Julia joined The Miller Gallery team in 2023 as a Gallery Associate. She believes in pursuing a fulfilling life, and aims to empower other artists to do the same. Julia's unofficial role here at The Miller Gallery is “cheerleader” for all our artists.
