"Painted in her 'Peeps' style of quirky, offbeat portraits, this original piece evokes the ancient symbols of Medusa and the Evil Eye. Many cultures believed the Medusa character, with her mane of venomous snakes, to be a beautiful but fearsome force, while the Evil Eye is debatably either a similarly cursed symbol or sign of protection, depending on one's own interpretation. Like all portraits, it is up to the viewer to define what it means to them."
